Bouquet Of The Day

Wedding Season is on it's way! Here is the first of a series of what we hope to be a busy love filled season.
I made this bridal bouquet for Sprout Home.

Baby Farah's Bouquet

...has me wanting to eat lots and lots of sherberty desserts.
Ciao dolcezza!
Patching Things Up

A lot of times flowers do what words cannot say, this bouquet was one of those.
For added interest I put my new shoe in the shot.
I'm so excited about my two feet in these, and what Osborn Shoes is all about. Treat yourself to a pair, you wont regret it!
Bella Italia

I've developed a growing relationship with the sender of this particular arrangement. Harking from Rome, Gail was particular to the sort of bouquet she wanted to send her friend. We found this Italian vase from ebay and patiently waited for it to arrive. I filled the unusual container with sage, lavender, blue parrot tulips, and bearded irisus with one pink peony for pop. It smells the way I think Italy will feel.
Meanwhile in this post wedding bliss I have begun the best task of all; researching my honeymoon next month- Rome, Capri & Positano
Gail we are really looking forward to seeing you in June!
Mom, this bouquet is for you- If only I could send it your way!
Bouquet of the Day

I am at my limit with wedding planning. I'm on my way 8:30 am tomorrow to Tucson, from that moment forward I ride like the wind.
In the meantime I made this bouquet at Sprout for a couples 50th wedding anniversary. The same day we got hitched down at city hall here in NYC. Good Friday.
Please, take a look at our wedding if you are so inclined, we don't mind. www.lealovesbrad.com
Our Glimmer of Spring

...has passed for the moment, but you can evoke Spring with one of these.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I know it's been a while since i've posted pics of bouquets (which is to be the point of all of this)
The post after this is going to be the real whammy-stay tuned!
In the meantime take a look at the Thanksgiving bouquets I made. How great would this make your table? The food could be totally lousy and your guests would remain pleased as pie looking at these beauties.
Sara Sill

I received the neatest flower order for an artist who was having her opening reception at The National Arts Club, just around the corner from me. Little did I know Sara Sill and I speak the same language! Sara's show "Nature Studies" will be at The National Arts Club 15 Gramercy Park South October 20th-31st. Check it out!
*here she is with the arrangement I made.
Bouquet of the Day

Dear blog,
I am sorry i've neglected you these past two weeks. I had a pretty neat trip with loads of exploring! Until I am ready to muster the energy (which is prob tomorrow am) I will leave you with this bridal bouquet I made at Sprout the other week.
Black Book Magazine

My bouquet and I got written about in Black Book Magazine!
(mom- click on yellow "black book magazine" to read the article)
I was asked what flowers translate as masculine, and to make a dual gender arrangement.
My special lady friend Heather named it Vampire Bill. Which she later stated on her blog "I Grew This" the following statement:
"I happened to drop by Sprout Home just before the bouquet went out and I must say this image hardly does it justice. We dubbed it Vampire Bill because I pictured it’s sophistication and texture on the mantel of a gentleman with fine, seasoned and timeless tastes."
THANKS HEATHER
An ode to Peaches

Peaches lives in the flower market and is by far the most special kitty I have ever met. I anticipate our bi- weekly meetings in the market and have offered to "borrow" her for the weekends.
* This bouquet is for Peaches.
Flora-shopaholic

The market this morning was a flora-shopaholics dream! With every swipe of the card I was unable to resist all of the beautiful buds. With that I whipped up these bouquets for your viewing pleasure.
