Fire Island
I've been busy this month, mostly removing sand from my toes and diving in the ocean waves. Been busy grasping on to the final month of my honeymoon Summer out on an island in the town of Kismet.
I bet you didn't know the definition of Kismet is Fate or Destiny in Turkish, it means luck to Serbo-Croatians. I didn't know that either...
This card from Screech Owl pretty much sums up what I have been doing at my beach house named Make It So. Really truly no better joy comes from being in a house with a bunch of my pals at the beach. My handsomely tanned husband can be seen making a pitcher of margaritas or flexing his grilling techniques all month long.
Now please do not think I have lost all complete grasp of real (working) world. I have not dropped the ball on making bouquet magic happen. I made this purple bouquet for a bride at Sprout Home this Friday.
Less knuckle and force and more freefall in form. (you can quote me on that)
That's kind of the lesson I gathered from this summer.
Basically, Fall I am ready for your biggest shot.

Summers by the sea are the best summer's spent! I'm so happy you and Brad got the house on Fire Island and have shared special memories with friends! Maybe I can try one of Brad's margaritas next year! Love you both! xo
